The Friendship Garden History
The garden started with an arc being cut into the earth to create a boarder and defined garden space, children planted Sunflower seeds. Several letters were written to acquire sponsorship for our Friendship Garden. We were delighted in the response, especially when Sir Robert McAlpine replied and said they would build the wall for us.
Thanks go to Sir Robert McAlpine for our fantastic wall and ongoing support, Galostar speacalist brick layers for building the wall, Kent and Blaxil for supplying discounted bricks, Barn Plants, Poplar Nurseries, for donating plants.
